Creating a flat braid foundation and planning leave-out placement.
Threading needles, sewing wefts, and managing tension and placement.
Blending and styling the leave-out for a natural finish.

Before you enrol
You must already be comfortable with basic cornrows. This class refines the foundation used for a sew-in; it does not teach cornrowing from scratch. One student trains with the instructor for the full session.
Plan for about seven hours of instruction and practice within an eight-hour day, including breaks. Sessions are usually held on Tuesdays; Monday or Wednesday dates may be arranged, and limited weekend sessions are available. Booking at least one week ahead is recommended so we can prepare your kit and arrange a model.
Booking & training policies
The weekday fee is $1,250 CAD and the weekend fee is $1,500 CAD per person, including applicable taxes. A payment or deposit may be required to secure your session; payment instructions and booking terms are confirmed when you enrol.
Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule. Class fees are final sale. If an emergency affects your attendance, contact us so we can discuss an alternate date. Missing your session without notice may result in forfeiting your deposit or fee.
You’re welcome to take photos or short videos of your own practice for your portfolio, with credit to the training. Recording the full class or the instructor’s demonstration is not permitted.
